This policy explains how Bet Intelligence handles personal data on its website and mobile apps. Bet Intelligence provides informational football analysis and does not accept or place bets.
1. Data we collect
Account data may include your phone number or email, password hash, verification status, generated alias, optional public username, language and preferences. We also process session and device-security data.
When you use paid access, support, community, messaging or advertising features, we process the information needed for those services: payment and subscription status, mobile-money request number and reference, comments, direct messages, reports, support content, advertisement orders and approved creative. We never ask for or store your mobile-money PIN.
2. How we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, verify payments, provide 30-day access, deliver analysis, operate community and support features, prevent abuse, send chosen notifications, meet legal duties and improve reliability.
Optional diagnostics require your consent. They use a strict event list and must exclude passwords, verification codes, payment details, private messages and analysis-card content. Session replay is disabled.
3. Service providers and transfers
DigitalOcean hosts the service. Africa's Talking may deliver verification codes. The payment provider processes mobile-money requests. Expo may deliver push notifications. PostHog may process consented, minimized diagnostics only when collection is enabled. These providers act under their own safeguards and may process data outside Tanzania where necessary to provide the service.
4. Retention
Account deletion disables access immediately and starts a 30-day recovery period. Payment and tax records are minimized and retained for five complete tax years where required. Comments, direct messages and closed support cases are normally retained for 24 months; support attachments, viewer-level advertisement events and optional PostHog events for 90 days; push-delivery records for 30 days. Legal, payment, safety or investigation holds can delay deletion.
5. Your choices and data subject rights
You can update profile details, change notification and diagnostic preferences, clear protected cache, review sessions, block members and use Profile → Delete account. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
For privacy help or an account-deletion request when you cannot use the app, contact support@betintelligenceai.com. You may also complain to Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Commission.
6. Security and children
We use access controls, encrypted transport, protected credentials, rate limits and audit records. No system is perfectly secure. The service is for adults aged 18 or older and is not intended for children.
